Does this require a wearable button?
Our radar technology monitors the home without the need for uncomfortable pendants or buttons that are often forgotten or lost.
Are there cameras in the home?
There are no cameras involved. Our medical-grade radar identifies movement and position without ever capturing a single image of your loved one.
Does this require high-speed internet?
Yes, the system requires a stable Wi-Fi connection to send real-time alerts to the family app or facility dashboard. During our consultation, we can assess your current signal strength.
What happens if the internet goes out?
Our hardware includes local intelligence and battery backups. The system remains vigilant during temporary outages to ensure continuous safety.
What happens if a fall is detected?
The system immediately identifies the motion signature of a fall and sends an instant alert to the designated family members or facility staff via the app. This eliminates the “response gap” that happens when a senior can’t reach a phone or a pull-cord.
Can the system detect things other than falls?
Yes. We track “Wellness Patterns.” The system can alert you if a loved one hasn’t left their bedroom by their usual time, if they are visiting the bathroom more frequently (potential UTI), or if they’ve left the front door open.
Does the senior need a smartphone to use TalkAssist?
Not at all. That is the beauty of TalkAssist. It is designed for seniors who find smartphones frustrating. They simply use their voice to listen to messages and reply, while the family uses the app they are already comfortable with.
Is there a monthly subscription fee?
Yes. Much like a home security system, there is a monthly service fee that covers the 24/7 AI monitoring, cloud processing, and the family app access. We will provide a clear, transparent quote during your consultation.
